Christie Barnes Fine Art
Christie Barnes was a CG animation artist, pre-visualizing sets and effects for ABC and NBC mega-mini-series like Merlin and Noah's Ark and feature films. A CG pioneer, she created a Victorian Factory scene which was the first CG movie footage with Lightwave for
the BBC film and TV movie Hard Times.
She developed her own CG films which were pitched in Hollywood by Oscar-winning producer Martin Poll. But then it all stopped...She and husband playwright/film writer Peter Barnes had triplets plus one.
Now the triplets are headed to college so Christie picked up the paint brush and has turned on the CG computers. Shocked that on her first painting back, she received offers in the thousands, she is now selling paintings and taking commissions.
